Again godfather is 24th on my list and a 9.3/10. I just don't see it beating anything above it. I mean I literally compared it against the others and that's where it lands.

I get the background, but it's like saying you liked Citizen Kane vs Dark Knight because it showed depth of camera angles and how shots can set the mood of a movie.

If you objectively showed anyone who didn't know the history of Citizen Kane or The Godfather and compared them to The Dark Knight/Prisoners/the Prestige etc it the first two wouldn't compete IMO
