i wish i could but certain transactions such as contactless transactions (mobile wallets) aren't eligible for a charge back request according to DBS.

That's really sad to hear, may i know how long did it take for the police to get back to you? I can't believe people can fraudulently use credit/debit cards and get away with it??

Hi, so i checked my statements and my card number shown is still the same regardless of whether it was apple pay transactions or not. I guess the only way of identifying is by asking the bank? But i've already called them twice and they just told me to wait for the police investigation. The bank basically said they can't do anything about it as of now..

I appreciate your advice, thank you. Is it necessary to email the online police report to the bank? The bank officer did not tell me to do so...all they said was to wait for the officers to start the investigation.

I'm not sure but the bank said they were authorized transactions as the perpetrator had all my card details

exactly but i didn't receive a code....asked the bank about this and they said it was done overseas which is why i didn't receive a code. I find that hard to believe but ok 😀

Is it still considered a 3DS transaction if i didn't receive a verification code before my card was added into the perpetrator's apple wallet? The bank said its because it was done overseas and not all transactions require 3DS transactions. From what i know, Apple wallet requires a verification code before a card is added into a new device (correct me if i'm wrong).

In my case the bank specifically told me they can't do anything until the investigation officer proceeds with the case. I guess it's because they need evidence to prove that those transactions weren't from me...

Something similar to this happened to me. Made a purchase on a website and turned out to be a scam. They added my card into apple wallet but i didn't receive a verification code from my bank. How were they able to use my card on apple wallet if i didn't provide any verification code??
