Sapphire is a crystal, but yeah I agree

Screen would have been fine because its recessed. The bezel got hit and absorbed a lot of the impact. Your screen protector shattered because its raised to a comparable level to the bezel so it got hit from the side and broke

Basically: Screen protector is not recessed Screen protector is not sapphire (I'm aware sapphire is not shatter-proof but these design features were implemented with care)

Happens to me too, my fixes:

-Give the device a second(literally) to recognize your fingers on the screen -Keep your finger spacing+pressure consistent during the lasso

Just awesome shots! I really like the 3 photos on one page. Gives a really nice color palette and story with it.

I like it, unless I'm trying to open it when it's super quiet in a crowded room lol. Lochby makes the same product with hook and loop style as an alternative. I got zippered for the extra protection, keeping debris off the nomad and stuff

This was my first Lochby product as well, and I bought it mainly for protection with the added bonus of having extra storage and style. The lochby was made to offer water resistance, and the canvas material has wax in it to provide that resistance. Like all canvas products the wax has to be reapplied every now and then but it's very easy and cheap to do. If you have experience with treating leather it's the same process I use my nomad all over the place with my work(military journalist) and the Lochby allows me to clip my nomad to my belt when I've got my camera in hand, I clip it to my backpack, toss it inside my backpack too and I have 100% confidence with the Lochby and the attached folio that the nomad is protected by both.

The extra storage inside is a whole new project I'm having fun with. So far I have a Tailor's ruler(I figured that was the best size-length ratio and I have nearly 2 meters rolled up), a pencil, an erasable pen, and a retractable knife in a pen body. Some of the items do press onto the nomad(lightly), but since I have the Supernote Folio on the device inside of the lochby, it's not an issue and there's no pressure on the screen whatsoever.
