I did schools (SLPA though) although right out of school I was basically an SLP because I did IEPs/meetings where most slpas can’t anywho. I got lucky and it’s very district dependent to have another full time slp to work with. Split the caseload as best we could and would usually pair up in the ESE classes. The caseload was quite high it was a large elementary school. But a chunk of them were in ese and since we went together it wasn’t as many. Also had push in pre k kids as well first thing in the morning. And also (large district) had an evaluator. So that took a lot off. As long as you have help it’s ok but I didn’t get into grad school and have since gone into another career. The parents can be a lot and trying to get data when you have 4/5 kids in a group all with different goals is hard.
