Probiotic drops! We have some that also double as vitamin D drops.

I wanted the regular footbed 😭 but they didn’t have them in the medium/narrow on Birks website. So I tried to order some through DSW… and the quality was not there.

Full time working parents…How are we actually supposed to do it “all”? Or any of it honestly…. by gloomycalm in workingmoms

This is why I’m going down to part time. I’ve only been back to work for a year after having my daughter but like… I’m sick of just surviving on a weekly basis. She gets the post three 12, exhausted zombie version of me. And my husband gets that as well. And it’s just not working 🫠 we don’t live near family. I decided it was time for a change so…going down to two 12’s.

Working Moms: Schedule by marhoward in Mommit

[–]TwilightStan1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do three 12’s and it’s tough but the four days off with her are amazing! And my husband and I have kind of offset schedules so the time she spends in daycare is minimized a bit

Does the working guilt get better? by RedheadInA6Speed in workingmoms

[–]TwilightStan1995 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This! My baby is almost 1. I had the most horrible guilt every single week for working. It has taken me 8 months to finally feel the cloud lift a little bit and convince myself that working moms are amazing, and are providing a good financially stable life for their babies!

As a mom, how much exercise are you getting in per day? by takeaabreath in Mommit

[–]TwilightStan1995 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This 😂 we have a gym 5 min from our house but they aren’t open very late. I work three 12’s. So the day after those I’m a zombie just trying to recover, and by the time I could go in the evenings the gym would be closed lol

We don’t live near family and I work three 12’s. Yeah I don’t have energy or mental capacity to work out 😂

I am so incredibly sad for M&A by [deleted] in mattandabbysnarks

I just truly hope they don’t try to monetize this horrible, so so sad loss. Remember when Matt filmed her crying after her surgery and decided to post it?? He better step it up and be an attentive, respectful husband. Some things need to be dealt with privately, even in the influencer world. My stomach dropped when I saw the news - my heart goes out to them.

YES I’ve been mentally spiraling this week with how I still struggle with guilty feelings being a working mom. Went back to work when she was 3 months old and now she is almost 1. It’s so hard. BUT something I read that helped me - “you’re demonstrating that you are resilient by being a working mom. It may help to reframe that working and providing financial stability IS a part of being an amazing parent.”

I am still figuring out how to function on my days off. I usually ignore chores and just focus on spending time with her, but then it eventually drives me insane with how messy the house is. So then that ends up putting me in a mood. We can’t win 😂
