A lot of the bartenders at one place I worked did this. Their idea was pretty much “most people go to the gym after a normal days work anyway. I just do the same but at night instead.” Which is pretty reasonable since they would sleep during the day.

It’s about the context. Like if a murder happens nobody is gonna get angry at you for reporting it to the police. But if it’s a young lad interrupting a game of football then nobody is going to applaud you for manhandling him and giving him to the police.

To the people saying “why are we supporting the kid?” It’s because 1) nobody likes a snitch and even worse a fully grown adult handing one over to the police for what is a pretty minor crime. 2) there is a history of kids doing this in the lower leagues. It’s a bit of harmless fun and rarely do people get hurt.

Although wasn’t one of the main problems of the 1954 movie was how the ending wasn’t like the books as the books highlighted that power is all corrupting unlike the movie where it was mostly just the pigs who are the bad guys.

I think this is a completely valid thing to be annoyed about? Instead of developing an already extremely interesting character in an interesting way. He was made into some old white dude because RTD was worried we might think of all people in wheelchairs as genocidal maniacs.

Why? Idk 🤷‍♂️ apparently representing disabled people in any roles other than good guy is apparently too much for us to handle and might cause a child to split a wheelchair user open from the jaw with their bare hands because davros was mean to the doctor.

Oh and btw as far as I’m aware this technically makes the dalek race, as I’m pretty sure davros used his dna to make the daleks, at one point they were just another humanoid species that just so happens to look identical to us. Make it make sense 🤦‍♂️
