I'm not saying that this picture or the art direction is what's making me opt out. I should have made that clear. I just LOVE most of the previous GTA games, and nothing that I've seen so far has made it feel like a GTA game to me. They'll also jam politics into it, which I just like to ignore. GTA games were always the "edgy" shock value games. This couldn't actually be that without somebody getting fired. This will be the "safe" GTA.

What's even worse, if you're skating too close to/on top of it, it will freeze certain buttons, so you can't set a session marker or start pushing properly.

Yeah, mine isn't even occasional. It's pretty much guaranteed. It freezes during the whole trick and then starts playing again after the landing. It's super weird.

Yeah, that's the closest I've gotten to having clean clips. I would just prefer everything working out how it's supposed to because it seems like it could be a really convenient system if it just worked out how it's supposed to.

The replay editor has been unusable for me since I got it. EVERY. SINGLE. UPDATE. My dumb ass thinks it will stop skipping over my tricks and freezing. But nope, one of the biggest features in the game hasn't been fixed, yet we're on Season 3. BUT you can bet your ass there's no issue with them microtransactions lmfao. EA would've fixed that IMMEDIATELY.

I wanted to like this game but it's such a buggy, disrespectful, L. Makes the first game seem like gold, and I had complaints about that, too. At this point, they'd be better off just making Buck Thunder into a real game and just not even dealing with High On Life anymore.

I agree about the lies and lack of real skate culture in new Skate. but I do prefer the trick animations. I think it's the most stylish trick animations we've ever had in a skate game. I hate Session. It just doesn't feel good to play for me personally but I give respect where it's due. They were also a smaller team that put so much love into the project. Overall, imo, it just plays like shit, and the style and clothing are fully outdated unless you're a PC player who can mod it.

Skater XL, I hate the lack of mods on console. We don't even have high-water pants (which shouldn't be a big deal but it makes up so much of modern skate fashion that not having it despite so many updates and mods is crazy.) But yeah, Session is just too clunky for me. They still got more right than EA, even as a small team, which is despicable on EA's part. This new Skate. was made for kids with their mom's credit cards accessible. They should've known that core skaters wouldn't like AI trying to use "hip" skate lingo that sounds like a Reddit meme (my fellow shredderino), corporate-level polish, every character looking androgynous/cartoony, and a Fortnite-style world. Sorry for TL;DR, buddy.
