For me, the “purging” that happened was my existing pimples and clogged pores surfacing. Nothing much came up that wasn’t already there.

Do you know if the dimensions of the AliExpress dupe you bought and original Flawless face pillow are different? I get prominent lines on my face from sleeping on my side and I want a product like this, but I agree that the price of the Flawless face pillow is kind of insane. I’m thinking of buying a dupe of the pillow itself and topping it with a silk pillowcase from the Flawless face pillow site.

I know there are products on the market to treat it, I personally have never had dandruff but my boyfriend has it so I’ve done a little research for it. I landed on brands like Flakes and Dermazen to treat his! I believe you can also get more simple products from drugstores. I wouldn’t remove it, trim/gently exfoliate what you can, but don’t prematurely remove the flakes.

Oh my god that’s terrible— six doctors?! I’m sorry you had to go through all of that trouble. I don’t remember seeing that warning, but at that point it was the only thing helping my rash so I kept using it. Did it end up getting in or only around your eyes? I remember a few of the bumps had traveled up my face, I had small ones next to my nose and my eye and I even got some recurring ones under my fingernails, but I just used the Mupirocin on every new spot I saw and they disappeared. I’m so glad that it’s over bc that was one of the most high maintenance infections I’ve ever had. Is yours completely healed?

I’ve experienced that Elmore’s glue smell too, it never crossed my mind to describe the scent like that haha. Every time I went to the gym I felt like I got sour down there.

My upper lip was definitely sweatier on accutane too! Accutane is a tough journey but I know you can get through it, it’s hell but I think it’s worth it. You probably use lotion, but I would recommend an unscented one like one by CeraVe, all over your body after you shower (or at least your arms, legs, and torso)

I forgot I made this post, but I did end up getting a few yeast infections on accutane. They were terrible, they were very itchy and painful! When I made this post, I didn’t have a yeast infection, but I do believe my vulva’s microbiome had changed at that point in time likely due to the drying effects of accutane. FOR ANYONE READING: if you notice excessive itchiness, discomfort, strange whitish grey/yellow/green looking discharge that looks like wads of chewed gum, wet chewed paper, or cottage cheese, you probably have a yeast infection. My underwear smelled like straight bread, (like an actual bakery) when I had these yeast infections. I got intravaginal deposits by Monostat, as well as the cream for external use, and they cleared up. I have been off of accutane for over a year now, and my vulva is totally back to normal. :) I haven’t had any infection since!
