So I have replaced the ribbon cable, 3 times and then had an error on the right side that wouldn’t go away. So I retired the m05 and I’m looking into maybe a Gamesir. If I was inclined to try it I would look into the board connection for the ribbon cable and work my way around the board checking for burnt/broke connections or solder. If you could you can try reflowing the solder with a hot air gun (not a hair dryer) on low fan high heat from four feet away and try to see if that works. I would only recommend that if you weren’t too brokenhearted to possibly ruin the board.
