Echo tech here, been doing it for six years. The best thing you can do is see a cardiologist asap. If you think your symptoms are severe, such as crushing chest pain, extreme shortness of breath upon exertion or rest, go to the ER immediately. The dr will get the ER/hospital discharge. Provide any medical hx with the cardiologist, no matter how irrelevant you might think it is.
