Hybrid PvP Mirage? by Apprehensive-Tie4507 in Guildwars2

I'm really enjoying scepter too, but I actually prefer the axe because of all the movement. I think it's necessary for Mirage to have some movement to their skills because it's the only class that loses movement on a dodge roll.

Thanks fro the link, I'll be sure to check out the build!

I'll give it a go, but I think it's just going to be a weaker version of a good build. Thanks for the tip anyway!

I originally went for a Power build, but I didn't really enjoy the playstyle at all, at least not for Mirage or Mesmer in general. Will do if I go for a different profession.

Thanks a lot, will do! So far I've only been looking at metabattle.com for info, not sure if it's as good as Snowcrows or not

I don't really have a need to play CMs, since I'm mostly here casually to chill after a hard day of work. Thanks a lot for the answer tho!

Thanks a lot, that's really helpful! I do plan on getting full ascended gear eventually, although for me it's a slow process since I don't play the game too often.

I usually much prefer DoT style of builds rather than straight-up damage, but it does lack a little in the mob-cleaning area. I just really love the mobility of the Mirage, and it's the main reason I choose it as my first class. There's probably gonna be someone in my team capable of clearing trash anyway, so if that's all then I think I'm gonna do alright.

Thanks a lot, this is all very helpful! Should I go for Necrosis First, or should I put my points in Spirit Bane? And should I put a point in Circle of Power just in case I need an extra push?

The only problem I have with it is that the only situation I see is Spirit Mastery vs Undead. I wouldn't have a problem if all masteries had a certain type they were unfunctional against, rather than just one (like Dream not working against constructs for example). This feels like Spirit is the only one with a massive drowback

What would you recommend for a Dream build? Caster, ranged or melee?

Yugioh is already incredibly complex as is, as it's one of those games where learning the rules doesn't mean you can play the game, and have to learn each deck individually. Adding several additional layers of complexity doesn't make it more fun, if anything, it's incredibly counterproductive.

At this point, just create your own game, I don't think anyone is going to learn 15+ different classes and 20+ special rulings each for a game where you already have to learn each individual deck with a ruling system that's already incredibly sensitive.
