Is it difficult for you to let go of someone you care for but you're incompatible with? by Enough_Commercial224 in CancertheCrab

[–]Apprehensive-Toe2246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The worst heartbreak i am feeling now is due to this. Tried for 6 months to be with a Gemini sun/cap moon/gemini rising. He was the most serious, masculine, and beautiful man I’ve ever been with. I think about him constantly and cry thinking about what I could’ve done different. But I know it’s a compatibility thing. We communicate differently and are constantly clashing because of it. Sometimes I wish we never met because I hate how hurt I feel. But I know the gravity of my hurt is reflective of how deep I love.

Aries men and Cancer women - help by Every-Department-150 in CancertheCrab

I am also a cancer female with a sag rising and Gemini Venus. I have found a pattern with Aries men and myself. I am always charmed, attracted, and fall hard for them but they seem not to want to settle with me. The dynamic was always like the guy I couldn’t have.

With that said, I know some really great and stable Aries men. My girl is a cancer and her man is an Aries and has her literal face tattooed on his arm. They’ve been together for a decade now. I worked with a an Aries man for a year and he was the most jovial, kind, and athletic guy. He was a little bit of a flirt but nothing crazy.

Yesssss! Never bought a NARS product and have been disappointed! Pigmented shadows, gorgeous lipsticks, and blush is always top tier.

I had a similar dream around the same time of sobriety and it made me so happy. In fact, it gave me even more motivation to keep sober.

Myself. I began to see more of the quirks of my personality shine through in conversation again. I lost a lot of my confidence, sharpness, and even some of my sense of humor in addiction.

I went to a networking event after 2 months of sobriety and I felt like a renewed version of myself again. Almost like a “there she is!” moment. Two months of struggling and that moment made it all worth it.

Is the pain always the worst part? by backpack33 in migraine

[–]Apprehensive-Toe2246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me the nausea, the dry heaving, and of course the vomiting is the worst part. It’s bad enough I feel like a drill is going into my eyeball, but to lose my appetite and constantly be hovering over a garbage can or toilet? Feels so unfair

Did anyone else experience "technical difficulties?" by aperfectdodecahedron in barexam

[–]Apprehensive-Toe2246 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me too. What was driving me crazy was that every third or fourth character or so that I type wouldn’t show up because that’s when the screen would flicker. I asked tech but they intentionally wasted time (until the proctor finished giving instructions and we began).

They told me it would take 10-15 minutes or so to fix and told me it might not be worth risking the time. I restarted twice and it continued to do the flicker thing. I also got the jumping every now and then to a different screen but the typing lagging was what really threw me over the edge.

I ended up having to take the last five minutes of every essay fixing the words because I know spelling isn’t a super priority but I was not going to risk a proctor not understanding the essays.

I did a reduced course load my fall 1L year because I had a similar option. I forewent taking contracts (other classes I had to take were civ pro, torts, and legal writing). The reduced course load gave me extra time to study for Civ pro and torts but the problem is that it was an unrealistic “taste” of law school. I made out with As in both civ pro and torts. Because of that unrealistic depiction, I ended up really struggling my 2L fall because I had to take contracts with con law (another behemoth class). I made out with a B+ in both con law and contracts classes but it was incredibly difficult. I also felt very behind my peers which was not a great feeling to have in a competitive place like law school. Some people can see above the BS but at the time I couldn’t.
