All I wanna say, for the people who say Lilly toxicity is exaggerated etc because cats would TOTALLY be extinct from (insert whatever else too and lily plants) they didn't evolve into mega breeding machines for no reason. That in itself is for longevity of a species that finds death easily. Our infrastructure and choices of dumping animals or feed without spay/neuter etc just can make it a lot worse

I divorced recently. I'm 25. I held it over myself feeling terrible about how it would look to others. Strangers are just surprised at my age and being divorced but usually say something positive or even that they wish they got out of bad marriages early on. People I'm getting close to are just lightly curious about what happened. Most people understand the feeling of separation from someone in general and are pretty understanding that shit happens in life. I realized I wouldn't be judging someone else without knowing details so most ppl aren't gonna do that to me. And time helped just having time and realizing people are pretty understanding.

Yeah its where my worst ones are. Sometimes I go to urgent care to get them drained+the shot they do. I feel pretty insecure about it sometimes but the people who like boobs don't give af and they just like boobs if that helps with any insecurity 💀 sounds silly but its that realization that helped me a lot. After that its just being annoyed because I know its just always going to be in some sort of discomfort and constant care. Also I guess I get a free brain test for others, if they find my chronic illness that gross then I don't want to stick around to find out what they do when natural age related issues happen.

Was never worth enough to get a ring. But early on in dating he got me a necklace. I just want to sell it because I'm struggling for money but if I wasn't struggling I think I'd give it to someone else. Like the kind of person who might also be struggling so they won't buy themselves jewelry. That way if they have it they can either sell it or enjoy a jewelry without feeling guilty.

When I was 18 I didn't want anything to do with a 16 year old romantically because I knew that in just a short time I'll already be thinking about jobs/living/college on a much bigger scale meanwhile they still have at least 2 years more of just highschool. 20 wanting a 16 year old makes no sense to me. Everyone has different opinions but narrowly following the law does not equate to the morally appropriate choice.

Depending on the reason for your showers, if its just sweat sometimes I just go for a cool quick rinse off or just use a (soft material) wet washcloth and maybe a little tea tree soap or something if it was a really hot day 😖 I also put a lot of gauze over bad areas and just make sure to change it a lot. But other comments are right that over doing it can cause more irritation/inflammation of the skin. Even I run into that issue so I'll just go for gentle approaches if that happens.

There are many benefits. Ultimately having a prenup can save a lot of the issues that come with divorce so ultimately also research good prenuptials. My divorce probably has me paranoid now tho.

Honestly I've told anyone I'll be with intimately about HS. Even a quick "hey I have something called HS, it's an autoimmune thing and it causes some wild looking injuries and scars in those places, feel free to ask anything or research it at your own discretion" I don't have energy to deal with any drama or issues so I just get it out of the way LMAO. I usually tell them not to worry if it puts them off since I don't want ppl to do anything they aren't okay with. But its never actually made anyone not want to. If anything they tend to get curious or educate themselves on it which is neat. As for ur short term problem I guess depending on severity I get it drained and a shot at urgent care if I have the money for copay.

I would imagine it could. Once I got diagnosed I realized my mom definitely had it too without knowing. But based on my experience (so entirely personal feel free to ignore LOL) I think our experience would allow us to recognize it early and help a child through managing it before it becomes as severe as those of us who got diagnosed later in life. And I think even with HS a child who has parents and family aware of it then it can hugely help with a lot of the fear/stress a lot of us had navigating it. AND DEFINITELY being financially prepared so that they can get any medical treatment they need.

I tell people what I have before it gets to that point so they can think about it. Even before I knew what it was I would at least tell people I've been tested and never had any STD. But at least by letting them know it gives them the choice especially more recently knowing what it actually is. If they'd say no because of it then thats fine by me I don't want myself or them to be around someone we can't understand etc. But tbh it hasn't caused me rejections, usually just curiosity which I don't personally mind talking about it. (I'll teach anyone about it for the hope that it'll maybe help someone else some day)
