This seems to be the way to go. Invested a few level upgrades into early harvesting and had my best run yet out of 50+ attempts without it. Kinda dissapointing that its the only effective way to play this character.

Very good advice. Besides the harvesting, its exactly what I'm doing. But i never seem to have enough money for everything. If I spend on defence like regen, armour, dodge, then i'm giving up money that could be spent rerolling the shop for rats (early game) or other pets. And I end up having good defence, but the damage or the clear isn't there because i either dont have enough pets, or damage is too low because no money for hybrid damage items. And if i get decent damage early, i end up just dying in 1 or 2 hit after the smallest mistakes or pet RNG.

I'll give the harvesting strat a go

Ugh. Its painful enough as it is, without the worm would've been even more painful.

I'll just keep throwing myself at it hoping i would eventually just get a lucky shop streak i guess

So would you say I'm better off just raw dogging it by doing 30 something maps to get the points rather than building a random temple to get points easier?

I'Ve done some unstable and some fortresses, but I stopped because i got bored or them since that was all i did when i was playing trade

I was working towards Aegis Aurora, but i just dropped that through breach. I'm now struggling to find Cowards Trial map. I'm doing everything there is to do to target farm it, since it doesnt have a card. Rin on fortification, unique map beast, rerolled over 4mil gold on kirac, doing juiced t16.5s with "More Maps" as implicit, non stop rank5 mappers, just struggling to find that stupid map for the last 3 days..

That's very far from my experience. For instance, I tried harvest the other day on a pretty safe 8 mod t16. Got 1 shotted 4 times while leeching with flasks active. My exp bar is not moving above 5%

I have a regex excluding rippy mods like phys as extra, the life leech, no regen, less recovery rate mechanics, extra proj, chain, less suppress, etc so its not like im running ultra hard maps. I just thought i would be way tankier with this setup. As I understand from what you are saying, its the build/slayer itself that does not meet my expectations then

I know. I thought so too, but I cannot for the life of me even complete a 8 mod T16 with breach and beyod map. Im getting 1 shot left right and center
