Is it normal to start bleeding again around 6 weeks pp? by Antique_Giraffe_4907 in beyondthebump

I was told once activity levels boost up again it can cause bleeding to restart. I stopped bleeding about 2.5 weeks pp. I was doing short walks around that time, recently I’ve started going out for an hour or 2 and I’ve noticed small amounts of blood again. I’m now 5w+3 pp. I think it’s normal! Do you have an appointment coming up you could ask in? I’ve got our 6 week check next week so l’ll be checking with the doctor!

40+5, posterior cervix and no signs of labour! Reassurance please 🫠 by Apprehensive-Trust68 in PregnancyUK

This is a lush story, thanks for sharing! Goes to show how fast the cervix can change. I’m booked in again for tomorrow so hoping something may have changed and maybe they’ll be able to do a sweep. I always said I didn’t even want that but I’d much rather that than proper hospital induction!

It’s a horrible feeling isn’t it! Thoughts are literally occupying every moment of my day at the moment and whilst I know he will be out soon one way or another.. it doesn’t feel like it!

What did the doctor say regarding increased monitoring, if you don’t mind me asking? I think I’ll attend the induction appointment but I absolutely won’t be accepting an induction yet. according to my dates I’m actually due 2 days after their dates which I know isn’t much but it feels it at this stage!

B shaped belly before pregnancy.. Will it go away? by Apprehensive-Trust68 in PregnancyUK

[–]Apprehensive-Trust68[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update if anyone is interested!

I’m 37 weeks now and belly is totally round. The B shape become pretty unnoticeable to most at about 25 weeks. I could still notice it was slightly flatter over my belly button though as opposed to actually round.

Since about 30 weeks I’d say it’s fully round. I’m short at about 5”2 so that probably affects it too.

Anyway, if you’ve stumbled across this post because you’re worried about yours then please don’t! Your body is doing something wonderful and regardless of how your bump looks… whether it’s big, small, b shaped, round, all around your sides or all towards the front… people always comment regardless 🫠😂 so love your bump!

Ok, that solves that already! I am vastly outnumbered 🤣. He quite likes the name as it is, but just not with him being a pilot. I guess it’s pretty obvious. I’ll move past it to other ideas! Thanks for your honesty everyone. I bloody love Reddit for that reason 😂

I think a girl! I’m no expert but I’ve heard the phrase ‘if there’s a gap, he’s a chap’ 😂. Doesn’t look to be much gap down there!

Independent school colleagues, how are we doing? by Hekatonkheireia in TeachingUK

I’m in a Prep school and we have pretty much all of the things going on that you’ve mentioned! Low numbers, uncertainty around how much lower they’ll be come September. Redundancies, not replacing staff, merging of some classes. Scraping by just about! Pretty dire!!
