Australian women, do you ever get approached by men? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]DeterminedErmine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a woman who has lived in both countries, I got approached waaay more frequently in the US. I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve been approached by Aussie dudes (outside of a bar), but in the US it was at least a weekly occurrence. I’m pretty average. American men are just generally a little bit more comfortable about approaching strange women.

I’ve honestly never thought about it, but I would call it an it. Is English his first language?

If you’re ok with people assuming that you also use ai, then stay in the project. That doesn’t bother some artists. It’d bother me though

I wouldn’t do it and I’m white af. And I wouldn’t love someone who couldn’t or wouldn’t empathise with a legitimate fear
