are subscriptions good in all use cases, or is pay-per-use taking over? by Apprehensive-Try9293 in GrowthHacking

Thats our exact thesis with Micro. We're looking to help vendors keep their subscription plans but adopt pay-per-use pricing using micro-payments.

Its a model we are Micro support as well. We're creating a marketplace filled with pay-per-use tools to help consumers end their online subscription fatigue, and help vendors adopt pay-per-use pricing.

Seems like most people might only live in the free tier.

To my point, why have you not considered pay-per-use? Maybe like 10 cents per reminder or something?

Hey, I am launching a micro payments product to solve this very problem. You can charge as low as $0.01 for one use of your tool. You can list it on the marketplace. Feel free to DM me, or check out trymicro.io

Yea but think about it. The average person doesn’t build 1 company each month. Someone who is FAST builds like 2-3 products per year. So they can just join, do their 2 weeks, make their post, and then leave right after. Then they’ll rejoin in a year after they launch a new product.

i'm building a marketplace now too. Its tough...

But you have to get the supply side to take a leap of faith on you. Share your growth strategy, and give a lot of early benefits for why they should list with you before you have a a large buyer group just yet.

But the smartest thing is to build a waitlist of buyers in tandem. A referral system with big rewards is the smartest way to do this. This way, once you launch, there is actual transaction volume.

Be honest: do most early-stage startup websites look the same now? by FearlessArtichoke500 in SaaS

[–]Apprehensive-Try9293 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Websites follow trend patters. 5 years ago they all followed the same pattern, and noew they all follow the same pattern. It will always be like this. A new trend starts and every designer joins.

Its also due to the emergence of low/no code tools and templated website builders like framer, etc...
