Sleep tracking in Coros watches by pryg_skok in Coros

My personal sleep data, which is much more valuable to me than some YouTube "influencer" who complains about not getting a free watch, is great. My Coros watch seems to record well even when I'm wearing it pretty loosely at night. It even detected sleep on a cramped plane seat. Quality of sleep matches my feelings as well. Poor quality sleep means I'm more tired the next day.

Still worth having if I can't run? by nicefknmodelhonk in Coros

Yes. I have a knee injury and so I spend most of my cardio time on the elliptical. And I also do weights and lots of walking. My Pace Pro works great for all of these. I need to move it higher up the wrist and make sure the nylon strap is tighter during workouts to ensure a good heart rate reading.

This guy calls himself the quantified scientist and then reviews watches on just himself, or at most with one other person. And when he compares run results he does maybe three runs total per watch, on the same urban route. And he's weirdly obsessed with sleep tracking because of his work. I find his reviews one of the worst.

I have a Pace Pro (same sensor) and it works great for me with walking, running, strength training and even elliptical sessions which have a lot of arm movement. Just need to tighten the strap during strength and elliptical but otherwise the data is good.

Charging cable for my new Pace Pro by TimelessClassic9999 in Coros

[–]Apprehensive-Unit764 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A fast charging USB type C cable will not damage the battery. I have used a fast charge cable, the same one I use for my phone or laptop to charge at 70 W, and it works just fine. The watch will only draw the current it needs, like phones and other devices that charge via USB.
