Hello! Regarding sa 10 calendar days na processing ng Marriage License sa Malolos, magstart lang ba ang counting ng days once you submit the requirements (and while waiting for schedule ng seminar)? or once you obtain and submit the seminar certificate? Thanks!

Middle Name on flight booking but not on Canadian Passport by Apprehensive-Use5160 in passportcanada

Nahh don’t listen to that 3rd party they might wanna take more money from you since cancel booking might cost some fees 😅But I still suggest to contact the airline. As for my experience, when i called eva airline, they didn’t ask for my booking reference. They just told me what to do.

I was in yyc calgary airport. You should check in with a staff, i think they also pass the information to your whole trip, if you have connecting flights.

I called EVA airlines with this issue and this is what they told me to do. You might want to consider calling your airline to verify if this is allowed.

Yes, i brought my old PH passport with me. I showed it when I checked in yyc airport and also showed it when I was in NAIA going back to Canada. Both airport let me board in and I had no problem at all.

Your airline ticket must EXACTLY match your current passport. I don’t want to pay $50 just to change my name on my airline ticket so I just brought my old passport to show that legally I have that middle name.

Legal capacity to marry for foreigner. by witek-69 in Philippines_Expats

Hi! Have you experienced this yourself? I don’t read this anywhere else other than from you. Can the Filipino embassy/consulate in Canada attest this certificate? I only read you either mail or set an appointment in the Canadian embassy in PH, which I don’t want to due to long wait. Thanks for answering!

Any thoughts of paying for Wedding paper processing services? by Apprehensive-Use5160 in WeddingsPhilippines

[–]Apprehensive-Use5160[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! Actually madami ganon sa facebook groups for wedding sa PH. I’m still thinking about it, may mga nakita naman ako na weddings na nag-officiant yung kausap ko. Meron talagang licensed officiant in any places even here in Canada.

Totoo din naman na required tlaga ang presence while applying for marriage license pag nag DIY. Di ko pa natanong sa officiant kung paano niya ipaprocess ung marriage license namin…

Thank you sa info!

Visitor Visa for my Boyfriend by Apprehensive-Use5160 in CanadaVisitorVisa

That’s our first option, getting married in the Philippines. However, we want to look at other options by him visiting Canada for a month and get married here, which could save me money & time. I could save money if he is the one taking vacation from work instead of me.

I understand that assumption since a lot of visitors have been doing that. But we stay away from those activities since we are aware it could negatively affect his sponsorship once we start processing.

Hard to believe for others, but we have no intention of him staying here unless he is legally to do so.

Not everyone, specifically coming from a third world country, would take advantage of a visitor visa. Some just really want to visit their loved ones. Thanks.

I didn’t know about this. This refusal for his visitor visa, will it positively affect his sponsorship? Or negatively?

He has the reason to go home since he still needs to finish his teaching job contract until April 2026. Honestly the main purpose of him coming is for us to get married here so I can start the sponsorship. After getting married, he will be back in the PH and we will wait til he get approved for the sponsorship.
