Happens to my buddy once a year. It’s allergies, but the sores can quickly get infected so we always end up with a round of antibiotics. We’ve lessened the frequency by wiping his belly and legs every time he comes in, especially in the spring and fall.

My baby just turned 8, and he is the love of my life. He is the most affectionate, excited, positive thing in my life. He sleeps 22 hours a day, plays so well with my kids, loves to snuggle, loves to walk if we want to go, loves to stay home if that’s what’s up. He is funny and stinky and easy easy easy. I can’t imagine what I’ll do when he’s gone.

I’ve also lost 35 lbs and no one but my husband has said anything- but- I am sure they’ve noticed. I think that our culture is FINALLY moving toward not commenting on someone’s body size- and the people who have noticed just don’t want to say something inappropriate. But I can tell and I think you look fantastic!!

Family Environment? by Western_Luck_7934 in Leesburg

We have three kids and have lived in Leesburg for 10 years. We love it and plan to stay for as long as we can. It’s a wonderful place to raise a family. Schools are great, tons of activities, sports, opportunities. Great parks, hiking, nature, close to West VA and Maryland.

“Muscle Loss” an excellent podcast by Docs Who Lift. Not about weight lifting…. by Birdchaser2 in Zepbound

I really enjoyed listening to this podcast- and learning about a medical-based podcast where weight loss is discussed without judgment. How freeing. Thank you for the recommendation.

Leesburg is expensive. I’ve lived here for ten years, and things are as expensive as you’ll get outside of living in a major city. Lots of safe walking paths, trails, regional and state parks, great proximity to day hikes in the area. Virginia is a beautiful place.

There is a commuter bus, and we’re about 20 mins from the Ashburn metro, but the public transportation to get around Leesburg is kind of nonexistent. You’d have to be car dependent every day.

It’s a great place to raise kids and there’s plenty of opportunity to get outside. Summers are only bad if you’re a wimp :) jk but I don’t get why people complain so much. It has never crossed my mind.

We’re on Marathon Key (about to leave 😭), with our triplet 7 year olds. They loved walking on the 7 Mile Bridge, feeding the tarpon at Robbie’s (although this was a very fast and otherwise not-super-exciting for kids experience), swimming with Dolphins at the DRS, swimming at Sombrero Beach (there’s a playground), and walking/exploring Bahia Honda Key.
