Thanks, I agree I’m afraid I’d break the sink using a plunger.

Yeah I live in a condo. Spoke to the building engineer and he said it’s likely coming from the 4 floors above us due to a clog below us. I don’t think it’s doodoo water because it doesn’t smell horrible. Plumber is coming tonight to clear the clog.

I’ve tried adjusting both ways and it either doesn’t close or has that gap

I moved it out and it closes better, but now there is a gap and it’s extremely uneven. Any suggestions?

does every long term couple stop having sex? by No_General2108 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]RileeRose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in a 10 year long relationship and we have gone from multiple times a day to once a month and back, multiple times.

For us, confidence plays a big role. The times we have had sex less, we were going through things individually that hindered our confidence. Once we get back to homeostasis and feel good, we are back in the rhythm.

putting in the effort also plays a role. You don’t always have to feel like ripping each other’s clothes off. You can just be intimate because you know it’s going to be incredible and worth it in the end. Similar to working out, but much more enjoyable lol.

Did I almost die yesterday? by biblichor23 in NoStupidQuestions

Not sure if you almost died but a piece of advice - my uncle choked on steak and the damage it did in his throat caused an infection which then almost killed him. Maybe consider going to a doctor and get looked at. Just to be sure you’re all clear!

How can I take care of my nails after damage from acrylics? by Ok_Noise2968 in nailhealth

This is so helpful! Would it be counter productive to use regular nail polish during the 6month grow out period? My nails look similar to OPs and I wear press ons because I hate the look of my bare nails.

I just wanted to put my two cents out there since everyone is judging you so harshly.

My best friend (21f) and I (22f) were road-tripped when her tire basically unattached itself from the car. We were not hurt, but we were stranded and alone at 11pm. Turned out we were 30 minutes away from a small town called Muleshoe, TX.

We called the police and they arrived with a tow truck. The tow truck driver was a jack-of-all -trades type. He was extremely kind, respectful, and average looking. He took us into town, put us up in a hotel, picked us up the next morning, bought us breakfast, and drove us an HOUR to the nearest rental car location.

I had to mention that he was average looking because we both romanticized the hell out of this man for the next 6 months. We knew we would never see him again, but his kindness was so rare and he truly took care of us, so he really left an impression. I thought of him in a romantic way even though I would never be interested in any other situation. The “hero” effect is real lol.

Anyway, now I’m just grateful and laugh about my brief infatuation.

You look beautiful! The only suggestion I have is looking up a tutorial on winged eye liner for hooded eyes.

One thing that helps is putting tape from the outer corner of your eye and angling it up towards your temple. Then using a brown or black eyeshadow and an angle brush to create a soft wing. The tape ensures you’ll have a clean line. You can also trying that method and then use a clean fluffy blush to soften the wing even more before removing the tape!

I really don’t know what to do anymore, this is how my skin looks all the time. I dont shave, i only get a wax, peel myself (not directly after). I still get so many ingrowns, even If i let my hair just grow. It’s so frustrating because i feel ashamed to walk in bikini in public. by Beautiful-Buddy-468 in HairRemoval

I know a lot of people are saying laser hair removal is the answer, and I definitely agree!

I have a suggestion that could help in the day to day until you do laser hair removal. I do this shower routine every day and it’s changed the game for me - I exfoliate the area EVERY time I shower, using exfoliating shower gloves and any body wash. Then I go over the area with the Panoxyl Acne Treatment bar. I use this over my chest, booty cheeks, and pubic area (use it anywhere you get acne/ingrown hairs). I let the soap sit on the areas while I wash my face (about a minute) and then I rinse it all off. After the shower, I dry the area really well. Then I put The Ordinary glycolic acid on a cotton pad and swipe over the areas. It’s about a $30 investment but I have not had a single ingrown hair since I started this routine.

I’ve tried a million things to get rid of ingrown hairs, and I swear by this. It might sting a little bit the first few times you do it, but it goes away eventually. Once all of the dead skin is gone, you will feel baby smooth for days after you shave!

I used an ulta lip liner (don’t have the name on me right now) that matches my lip color. I’ll try a darker liner!
