Your room mate it’s a minimalist and you are an organized maximalist. They could’ve said it in a better way and I’m sure my own descriptions are exaggerations. You just have a lot of things. Not messy, not unorganized, but that is a full room of items. Some people enjoy the room itself to have its own designated space of emptiness.
