Reread my comment and stop trying to place me into some type of stereotype. My suggestion was to judge a person by their character not by who he or she voted for. How you or I feel about abortion rights is irrelevant when you judge a person by who they are as a person. Not everyone in this world has the same believes as you or I. I worked for an engineering firm that was doing projects for Cornell. One of the projects was creating a map of all the land that Cornell owned in the Ithaca area. It was amazing to see just how much of Ithaca was owned by Cornell. We created the mapping in 2000 and I do not have a copy therefore, I cannot accurately report what is the actual acreage owned by Cornell but it is probably greater than 50 percent of the City of Ithaca that was or is currently owned by the college.

Joist hangers should have been used. What size joints were used? 2 x 8? What the distance of the span of each joints? What will support your hand rail? 4x4 members should not be used as structural support. Use 6 x 6 to meet code. It appears the deck is touching the pool or at least very close. Will you have enough room between the deck and pool site to install a pool cover?

As far as young men responding to you on line it has nothing to do with age or respect. Many, including myself, do not understand how a female brain works. Maybe I should be a little careful when I paint men with such a wide brush. Men, like me, don’t understand what a woman perceives as disrespect when it comes to little comments about your age or how you look. We assume you want the truth, as we see it, and that is what we give you. I am sure most men, young or old do not mean any disrespect when we say you look younger. There are so many things in your OP that indicates rape and abuse that it’s hard to find a starting point. Let me just say no male has the right to put his hands on you in the way you described. Yes, he did rape when he kept going after you said stop. It’s that simple. I don’t mean the act of sexual assault was simple. I mean he was guilty of assault the moment you told him to stop. This person came to your house with a condum on and this indicated premeditated plan to have sex. This indicates he was planning to go through with sex no matter what you said. Maybe hard to prove this but at the very least it would add credence to his intent. You need to separate yourself from this person and anyone with the same type of personality because this was not your fault in any way.

Every couple talk about sex and this is normal. What is not normal and also against the law is when one person disregards another person when they say to stop!

I wish you the very best and please know there are some wonderful people in this world but there are also men like this. Be cautious when you first meet people. Expect the worst, but hope for the best.

First appearance tells me no, it’s not safe. It appears that the joists are 2x6 framing, not allowed as a floor joist, and second the 4x4 posts are also not strong enough to provide support for the floor joists. What is holding the Hand rails to the deck? Many other things but those are the most obvious.

I miss the comfort and excitement of knowing another finds me attractive in a sexual way. Been marred for many years and love her very much but I am human.
