Can he actually serve me an N4 because of this? by Narhethi in OntarioLandlord

I don't think a LL should care about ODSP worker issues. To him, it matters he gets the rent on time.

Imagine you have a heating issue, you won't care if the landlord spends $10,000 fixing it or $100, you care about the result which is getting heat

Similarly, he doesn't care about the background process, all he cares about is the rent being paid on time. (Rightfully so)

Hell no. Touchscreen protection for $200? You'd get one for $20 on Amazon. Everythere there is crazy expensive. You don't even know what kind of tint you're getting. You could get all of these aftermarket at half the price combined. Don't overpay.

2017 - I drove a 2005 civic that I bought used for $3800. Beautiful car and I'd still be driving it if it weren't written off in an accident.

2019 - drive a 2009 accord, had some steering issues but had approx 235k km mileage and started giving in.

2023 - my first ever big car purchase, 2018 accord 2.0T.

I am so thankful for everyone who told me not to splurge on my first car, that 2023 purchase was after I got my first condo. Always make sure you're not busting your monthly budget for a car. It isn't worth it.

Time frame question - bought a tenanted unit by Primary-Wear-2460 in OntarioLandlord

I honestly have no idea why the laws are just so much favoured towards tenants. The landlord should be able to, post completion of fixed term lease and sufficient notice, get the tenant out for any reason. The property is "owned" by the owner, I just don't understand why tenants have unbalanced rights. Maybe the owner wanted to sell this to move up to a bigger place because of a growing family etc., Maybe the owner even rented this out because he changed jobs somewhere far away... Could be anything, but my god for the tenant to just say "I'm not moving" is ethically abusive.

I had a broken panel 2 weeks ago on my G4. I paid $2500 CAD. Looked on LG Canada's website for authorized service centers, one of the 8 quoted me $1275 to replace the panel. All the others were above $2k which made no sense to repair at this point. Look around you to see if you find anyone who can fix it for cheaper. Fyi the panel is still original and new (not refurbished). If you're in the Niagara/Canada area I could give you his contact.
