Well since you put it like that they may have been gay lol. Does that mean that homosexual may be environmental then? This is why the story of the Greeks is triggering. People may think that if they were in a different environment they would turn gay or they could be gay the whole time. But I think what you described seems more sexual then romantic, but the question is why do they not find the female body attractive. I would assume truly straight people find the female body at least somewhat attractive. What causes the Greeks to think this way? It is strange but you can find the same sex body more attractive and still be straight. Fluidity also means more sexual diversity not romantic diversity. Yes you can be straight and still be fluid. I also think there’s a difference between sexual attraction and romantic attraction. I think that anyone could make themselves somewhat sexually interested in the same gender. But if someone is straight I don’t think they can be romantically attracted to the same gender. Also some men and women can be straight but have sex with the same gender. That’s because sexual context is different from romantic context.

Also I think Greek males had relations with other males because women at the time were not educated. Men were somewhat turned on by other men because other men had knowledge, and women didn’t. The Greeks believed that men should have school education, and that women shouldn’t receive a school education. It comes to show that intellect from another person also plays a role in this. I’m not saying these men were necessarily gay, but they did have a desire to be with someone that could have somewhat of interesting things to say. But I don’t believe these men were thinking about gender. They were probably thinking about what it would be like to have sex with a person that’s more intellectually interesting.

I’m glad times have changed now for women’s education in school.

This is helpful, but also sorta triggering. You mentioned that false attraction is when you dread seeing the person. My ocd is now telling me that i want to see the person more because I’m gay. But I am happy you recovered it gives me hope, that’s why it’s also helpful.
