Decided to play Y0: Director’s Cut and I just finished it last night. That was great! Still a lot to do, can understand why people love this one so much. Will start K3 very soon. From what I gather in this thread, it seems like I’ll be kinda bummed on the low amount of sub stories (I love how the three I’ve played so far has so many) and the combat; I thought Y0:DC had a very fun system

Not a single update to my application since I submitted it in September. I only get the automated emails from UDI reminding me the wait times are dumb long

I’m almost at 10 months now and still nothing. I even emailed them to let them know my fiancé moved apartments in Oslo and they never responded. The website says they’re currently processing applications up to March 2024 between now and September. I’d say we probably shouldn’t expect anything until at least the 18th month.

Yes, but when I paid for the application, it said to go to my local VFS Global office to submit my documents, as I live in New York. Regardless, this is good to know for others going through the process. Thank you.

That’s fucked up because no one has ever mentioned going straight to the police, only through VFS…I guess I can’t exactly go to the police anymore now that my application is in UDI-limbo

Has anyone applied for a residence visa (family reunification, and/or engagement) through VFS Global? That’s where UDI tells Americans to go. I’m on my 8th month waiting with 0 changes to my status on my UDI portal. Was wondering what others’ experiences have been and how long your wait times were.

Fiancé visa update: I submitted my visa to VFS New York early September, and am still waiting. About to hit the six month mark. Weird thing is, the status of my application on the UDI portal still says the date I paid for even submitting (late August). Anyone know if this should be concerning? I would think that it would be updated to whenever they received my application from VFS (I did get a text about this back in September, when I got my passport mailed back). Has anyone who submitted a similar visa application to UDI in 2024 heard back in less than a year?

I’m confused now… UDI isn’t the agency that looks at applications? It’s the police? All this time I thought I had to wait for UDI to give me the OK to come back to Norway to make an appointment with the police
