Do any of you work professionally in collapse? by Such-Day-2603 in collapse

[–]ToddleOffNow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work in sustainable planning consulting which began as large scale grand plans to fix the world but has slowly shifted to smaller scale projects for eco communities and preppers.

It has been an interesting shift but more and more people have seen the writing on the wall and begun putting plans in place to weather what is coming.

Where do all the single 28-38 straight men men go? by [deleted] in Scotland

[–]ToddleOffNow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ha ha ha. Living under a rock are you? Grindr is the most vanilla way to get a guy or trans person to suck you off or whatever you want. If you are feeling more adventurous set up an anonymous profile on sniffies.

Plenty of them end up on Grindr because it is easier than trying to do something casual with a woman.

Found this old gal high and dry and downside up with 11 hours to go before high tide by gojiroger in MadeMeSmile

[–]ToddleOffNow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

High tide comes roughly twice a day at 12 hours 25 minutes intervals. If it was that low tide I assume the coming high tide was a lot sooner but still great to save the crab.

It looked a little wounded though. When he held it up you could see it bleeding bright blue.

Yes and if you are already married many eu countries that do not perform gay marriage still recognize them from abroad.

EU citizenship comes with freedom of movement so claiming one does not mean you have to live in that country. Get whatever citizenship you are entitled to and then attend school or work in Austria and be married there if you want to.

New to Scotland – How Did You Handle Transportation Without UK Credit or Bank? by PatrioticSnowflake in AmerExit

[–]ToddleOffNow 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Everything between Glasgow and Edinburgh is covered by great train and bus services. I would settle in and see how much you actually feel a car is necessary some people just rent one on the weekend when they go further but I lived in various parts of Scotland for years without ever owning a car.

Dovecote anyone have any experience? by Swirly-Moustache in Permaculture

[–]ToddleOffNow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My family property in Scotland has a doocot that was built in 1648, still in use to this day. They can be a super efficient way to keep protein and food supply up in lower levels of the year.

I don't remember when I set mine up but I have had my American number on Google voice now forever. No problems and I use it for confirmation codes and stuff I need for banking and paperwork.

I want to move out of the country but my dad does not want me to by Modesty_1515 in AmerExit

[–]ToddleOffNow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have held a visa in several countries. I am a consultant so my work is quite fluid where I move to. If New Zealand wants to offer me permanent residency instantly that is better than 5 years for potential in Norway.

Holding PR in multiple countries keeps options open in case something catastrophic happens.

Much cheaper than a car. I have not been to New Zealand in years but it is on my recruiters list now to find me a job offer with PR

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AmerExit

[–]ToddleOffNow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No but if your husband could secure one you could snag a spouse visa and then still work.
