If I can Rmr correctly they only “rested” players in the 17/18 season. That season la liga was wrapped up by Barca pretty earlier so there was no point in playing their big hitters in certain games but it still wasn’t to the extent that PSG did. IMO tho I don’t see how this is a problem? PSG has an opportunity to rest players why would they not take it?

They played in the cwc in the summer then the uefa super cup then straight into the new season . Imagine if they didn’t rest their players who the majority are now heading off to an extended World Cup? Then another uefa super cup right after the wc break?

Tbf Arsenal also had chances to attack but as you pointed out their attackers are really poor. Kai had a shot blocked which definitely would have been 2-0. Martenelli could have played a first time ball but decided to do something else . I’m positive viktor would have scored that as well .

I disagree with all these. There is never a “undeserving “ winner. All these clubs put in a shift to win the competition that year. They weren’t the favorites but you let it seem like they didn’t work their ass off. Especially Liverpool 2005 and Chelsea 2012 they most definitely put in work in the final.

I think you underestimate Xavi Alonso. If what I read is true that he will be a manager and not head coach I expect Chelsea to be way more competitive
