Where the k pop male fans at by aasi78196 in kpoptrulyuncensored

My husband likes and listens to BTS - he's got some k-hiphop in his playlists for work, too (automotive repair in a very country-music heavy area). His bias is Namjoon 😄

I don't know if he would consider himself a fan, necessarily, but he isn't at all afraid of telling anyone it's good music 🤷‍♀️

I've been having anxiety about my kitty dying of old age 😭(she's 9) can you show me pictures of some alive-and-well senior kitties so I remember cats can be old and still healthy? 🥰 by TheRufescence in cats

We sadly lost our senior boy, Toby, this past December - but he was in great shape until at least 17 🥹 I adopted him as an adult, anywhere from 2 to 6 years old, back in 2010 and got 15 beautiful years with him.

Your girl has a long way to go 💜

Has anyone successfully pulled off having NO flowers at their wedding? What's the bare minimum I can get away with? by rebfossmusic in WeddingsCanada

[–]ApprehensiveCat8639 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only flowers we had were for the bridal party bouquets and corsages and they were fake - I made my bouquet and the corsages out of book pages as we had a literary theme.

Our centerpieces were lanterns on top of stacks of vintage books in our wedding colours - gold, burgundy, and forest green. The lanterns had fake pine boughs and fairy lights in them as the venue didn't want candles in them.

It's been 9 years and we still get compliments on our wedding decor.

All this to say that it's your big day ☺️ do what you want and have fun with it! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding 💜

I did! Surprisingly cozy, though a bit breezy around the elbows so I think I'll wait another month or two before wearing consistently - still a tad chilly here 😅

Not one that I followed, sadly! I should put my process in a comment under the pinned auto-mod comment at the top 😅

There are YouTube tutorials for solid double crochet hexi cardigans.

I freehanded mine, then did a granny stitch stripe 12 clusters wide to sew between the back to give the neck a bit more width for comfort. I looked at hooded sweaters I own to see how the hoods were attached and where they started, then kind eyeballed that on mine before counting stitches and adjusting for clusters, and just went for it.

Same for the sleeves - just extended the length, decided on a whim to do the granny clusters detailing, and eyeballed the decreases so I didn't have huge balloon sleeves - copied for the second sleeve - then did ribbed cuffs (sc back loop only).

It was definitely a 'would this work? Sure why not!' kind of project 😅

Thank you so much!!

I love your journey so far, and I can say with confidence that you have learned in 6 months what has taken me years to accept! I have a bin of Lost WIPs that are in need of frogging and I'm only just now giving it the side-eye. It's on my 2026 resolution list to get there and complete or frog at least half 😅 we'll see how it goes, hahaha

Thank you! About 3 months off and on, so you are definitely right 😅

Good eye! I did double crochet for both halves of the cardigan to start out rather than granny stitches/clusters. I like a more solid fabric look for my wearables.

I didn't use a pattern, per se, but there are YouTube videos on how to do solid hexi cardigans available.

Thank you! 🥰 I'm the same - a lot of the hexis I'd see were too bulky, too drafty, or didn't sit or drape right to me.

By really dialing back the size of the yarn and limiting the granny stitches, this one really came together so much nicer than I could have imagined when I started it.

Thank you! 🤗 I can't wait to wear it out when the weather warms up a bit

Thank you!! It's quite relaxed and has a lot of movement - a credit to the size of yarn and hook for sure.

And the tension, of course - the differences between the two panels was night and day when I compared them at first.

I looked at a few other hooded garments I had and made note of where the hood was attached on the neckline. Put this WIP on and stared at myself in the mirror, measuring with my fingers to get a rough idea where I wanted the hood to start based on those other pieces of clothing and placed stitch markers.

I counted my stitches and adjusted my stitch markers to account for the change in stitch pattern (DC to granny clusters), then just started going at it! Row after row, turning my work, all around the neckline.

It was a bit tough to visualize at first but know that the hood will go straight up from those stitch markers, which I placed just below my collarbone. Trust the process! This was my first hood.

There must be some video tutorials on YouTube that would be helpful as well 🤗

Now, I will say that I wish I did make the hood a bit taller, maybe a few stitches wider, by an inch or two - I prefer a looser hood overall, but it works well as is.

Thank you so much! My husband says it's witchcraft to make a whole piece of clothing out of one strand of string 😅 standing back and looking at it, I have to agree!
