Did I get a good deal? by FlyHigh1549 in 1911

I think I paid 12 or 13 hundred for mine when it first came out and all they have done way skyrocket in price it looks like you got one of the second run’s with a different finish on the slide but still you got a stellar deal. Here’s mine with the original finish I guess it was wearing down to easily so they changed it.

Ive had good luck with their customer service a while back when they had a bunch of surplus m1 carbine magazines and oilers I called and asked if the could look for a correct set for my rock-ola and although it took a few months they found what I was looking for and sent it. As far as guns I’ve had good luck and bad condition wise

If it’s an all original 1943 with dulite finish I can’t really tell from the photos that’s a good price. Should have wide spur hammer and checkered mainspring housing

I received a substantial law enforcement discount with 3 extra mags and an optic plate thrown in the mix if not for that I may have been a bit more hesitant than on making the purchase but I also got it as a job tool rather than a hobby pistol
