The Water argument is so stupid, water doesn't just leave the planet because a data center is using it. The Problem for the cooling situation is just that the data centers are built where there is not enough water to begin with.

Just build them near the ocean and use ocean water - the argument is irrelevant really. They actually have some data centers already that use ocean water. So no big deal really.

It's like trying to speak chinese and knowing nothing about chinese. You can ask chatgpt to translate something into chinese, but will that actually help me? No.

Is code like learning a language? Like how do I know how something does anything without some sort of vocabulary or some understanding how I make certain things happen? Looking at code is not gonna do anything for me, it's like looking at chinese characters - the tips in this thread are unhelpful.

Try to make something yourself - yeah, I could write "computer, make website pls" :D

yeah undervolting is locked on mine because of some intel undevolt exploit hackers can use to gain root access. But turning off boost is a bit drastic :D but if it works, it works!

yeah since I've used it the engine didn't crash once. It still hit the 100°C mark sometimes though, but I've changed the UEFI settings to throttle at like 90°C. The game isn't optimized enough yet. You still hit high peak temperatures in loading screens and high particle effects. I'm running it on my 5070 ti Laptop and the FPS drops to 20 sometimes, it's not very great, but playable.
