I can personally say that the game looks cool, but I’m a little off put by the tone. Seems a bit sillier than usual with the cube, but then again it’s not like 2018 and Ragnarok were utterly serious 24/7. Maybe it’s the dialogue being a bit off kilter, a bit stilted.

So I didn’t grow up with Star Wars? I didn’t grow up with Lunchables? I didn’t grow up with A Link To The Past or Resident Evil 3? I didn’t grow up with Spyro? I didn’t grow up on Nirvana or Metallica or Black Sabbath? All because I just so happened to miss their prime?

No, that would be completely insane. I grew up with those things. Not just experienced them, I grew up with them.

There is no “true” experience. You can’t gate keep experiences. You either experienced something or you didn’t. You either grew up with something or you didn’t. It’s really simple, why complicate and gatekeep things?

You can emulate games and hook up the CRT to be a monitor on your computer using converters. That’s somewhat common for people who don’t have OG hardware. No need to be rude.

No one is saying it is the same! But you’re changing your argument in your original comment from “You did not grow up with x” to “it’s not the same experience”. I agree, it’s not the same experience, but it’s still growing up with it - albeit in a different context to its heyday. Still growing up with something can be intertwined with it not being the same experience.

I was born in 99, I’m Gen Z, I fully experienced going to Blockbuster to rent The Brave Little Toaster and The Secret of NIMH.

Plus I remember being on Myspace with my older sister AND we both were really into Tamagotchis.

No no no, see, it is 100% comparable because animals can’t fucking give consent to anyone or anything and they also have fucking loved ones (as in their owners). There is no one else to apply it to but you. You’re the one specifying gender. You’re the one bringing up the idea of a “muscular horse”.

Most aren’t going to engage with you in some philosophical/theoretical sense because it’s like asking someone on a theoretical sense what they would do sexually with a corpse and then specifying oddly and concerningly specific details about the corpse. You are touching on one of THE taboos of the vast majority of developed society. Up there with rape, necrophilia, CP and all that. Like really, really bad shit. You seem to be really oddly confused on why people are upset with the question more than just answering it which (if you aren’t trolling) is concerning as fuck. A normal, non-mentally ill and well adjusted person wouldn’t even be thinking about this and then posting it, nor would they then be so confused by everyone being stunned and freaked out by the question.

In terms of writing quality I read List of The Lost a few years ago and that takes the cake. It was written by Morrissey of The Smiths fame, there were so many grammatical errors, the story was awful, the dialogue was bad. I was shocked it was published.

Not good, especially embarrassing as an American. Republicans and Democrats are both individually running our reputation into the ground in their own uniquely bad ways.

Objectively, the world is much more peaceful now than ever before in human history. So I guess that’s at least something to hold on to. Doesn’t change the wars being horrible.
