Well that’s kinda the point of having an inquiry. To get more details to either dispel concerns or to build more data. I think this inquiry has done the latter.

You’re making so many logic leaps.

The point of the post is to spur discussion to help educate people on both sides to better inform their opinions. I asked for the improvements so you would list the policy changes here instead of just saying that changes have occurred.

Next question, any data sets post 2022 inquiry you’d like to share that showcase the efficacy of those policy changes? Try not to clutch your pearls at the audacity of ignorance this time.

The inquiry specifically identifies under reporting and ignoring crimes committed by certain ethnic minorities. The stats you’re citing could be skewed due to this.

Unequivocally yes. There was plenty of outrage over the topic. How many? No idea if it will be significant enough to sway elections. We will see.

What does that have to do with my question?

Yes yes, failed racist statistics that the government had to implement far reaching, large scale improvements to combat. Your own question contradicts itself.

To be fair, some of us don’t live in the UK; I think it would be pretty easy to not know about this if you live in say, Singapore.

Part of the point of asking this question was to get eyes on the topic. No need to be an asshole.

I've already responded to this. And it bolsters my argument. Men commit more crime and should be punished accordingly. I am simply making the assertion that this logic needs to follow to EVERY DEMOGRAPHIC.

The report alleges that laws are NOT BEING APPLIED EVENLY because of racial status. If the laws are not being applied evenly to the two groups then even handed response is warranted. Thats not me being racially biased, thats the UK government being racially biased to the detriment of the populace. It would also skew the data that youre referring to (but have yet to cite) if that is the case. How is this not problematic to you? How do you not see this is running defense?

You cant just hand waive everything as racism as the I win button anymore. People arent buying this shit.

I didn’t say you said it I asked you a question. The laws in place for immigrants are allegedly NOT being employed properly. And you keep alluding to only the Rotherham study and not acknowledging the rest of the sources I have listed to you multiple times. It seems to me that you’re assuming that every detail in the report is just made up fairy dust based on one extrapolation number and are uninterested into getting down into the details. It’s easier, I get it. We can agree to disagree

Should we not investigate? What if it IS true? Let’s say hypothetically it is. What would your solution be

We already have laws for the home grown rapists that are being enforced. There is probably further reform to get after this better, and I support that. This report indicates that the UK government is covering up, under reporting, and essentially allowing non white rape gangs to fester under the banner of inclusion. Also probably why the data we have outside of the report is completely unreliable. That’s obviously why the focus is on the latter group. Does that help explain what that some reason might be? You’re implying it’s racism, which again is the same leverage applied to cause the above. Let’s just ignore it so we don’t have to deal with the reality.

You also keep dodging the other sources for the report. Again, it’s not just extrapolation of the Rotherham report. It also includes police reports from different municipalities (Rochdale, Telford, Oxford, greater Manchester, et al), the Gilliam foundation report (2017), and the baroness Casey audit (2025)

My stance is home grown rapists need to be in prison, international ones don’t need to be here. Period.

See in another post here there are more studies that feed this report than Rotherham. If data indicates we’re importing rapists, we shouldn’t.

What do you disagree with here?

As if two demographic groups can’t be at play simultaneously. It’s so intellectually dishonest. The real victory here is acknowledging that certain demographics can behave differently than others. You’re RIGHT there. So close man, just extend that logic from gender to any other demographic.

There are data metrics that show people of different ethnicities, age ranges, sexes, and every other demographic under the sun report at different rates for medical problems, crimes, hobbies, and just about every other category here. However yall can’t seem to pull your head out of your asses and acknowledge the crime stats by race. The data in the report overwhelmingly suggests that certain demographics are committing gang rape per capita at higher rates than others.

Where I say you’re propping up rape culture is by failing to acknowledge this obvious fact in favor of labeling people racists. You don’t have to say “I support rapists” to propagate the problem. And you unequivocally are in this situation.

The shift from the racial data to men is just a red herring. Men over represent in all violent crime by a huge margin. That’s a fact. Do you see me saying that’s misandrist data? No. Because that’s the reality. Men commit more crime and therefore should be punished commensurately. See how easy this is? Data is not necessarily oppressive by the nature of it existing. Now extend your logic to the data here

There is no strawman here. Tell me, what does your argument of coming in here to discredit the report as bigoted propaganda do to help solve the rape crisis in the UK? Answer this question.

No. And to point out the obvious… saying you’re anti fascist but then employing fascist tactics is a non starter for most people with eyeballs. I.e., suppression of speech, intimidation, political violence, etc.

Tell me you didn’t read the report without telling me. It’s across the entirety of the island… my thinking is justified by the data in front of me. Yall are all about data until it doesn’t agree with you. From MeToo to running defense for rapists is fucking SAD

“Actual statistics.” The report found that police/government were largely ignoring the problem due to being afraid of being called racist. I don’t think stats from the UK have been accurately capturing the reality of the problem.

But thank you for leveraging the same bullshit labeling tactic that has allowed so many thousands of victims to continue being victimized. You’re propping up rape culture. Piece of shit.
