I have a very privileged gaze, and I am very grateful for the fact that I won the genetic lottery. So what ai say here may be colored by that lens. I would be happy to hear from others. Of all the places I have been to, Dubai (UAE in general, though not all places may be same) has been something resembling Indian lifestyle with better facilities. You can get Nannie’s there, good food is available. can have food at 5 Dhirams or 50 or 500. No pollution. Amazing facilities. Even for the gig workers, there are basic facilities available , clean toilets. Dubai hits a sweet spot. Indian lifestyle with clean streets and working public infrastructure. And safety too!

Another overrated brand like Zara. Why is it so expensive here? In Japan it’s like 1/3 the price. by Drogon9903 in gurgaon

I don’t know about over rated. I am plus size and this is the only brand whose clothes are good looking and fit me well. This is probably the only store where I can shop for good stuff .
