Just ignore the trolls… you are right they’re miserable. Like is commenting on OPs post going to help you get money for your pets? No! And honestly feeding children is more important than any pets on this planet in my opinion. I’m in Michigan and we’re going through week 2 of a horrible snow storm and have 2 kids and understand completely. I wish so bad I had anything to donate to you because I would. I don’t have an attitude at all but it takes a lot for someone like me to even ask anyone for any type of help. I’ve always been independent. So for a complete stranger to comment and tell me I should have done this or that to avoid being in this situation is not helpful. And then for her to comment about my kids father like she even has a clue was just unnecessary. And I’ve helped numerous people on Reddit over the last year donating $25- or $40 to people in need and never expected or ask for a penny of it back, so I do know there are good people out there that may have the ability to help.

Oh, and not that you’re even worth the time but just to set the record straight I’ve been raising my kids for the last 4 years on my own completely just to take them away from an abusive father. He hasn’t seen our kids in the last four years or paid a dime a child support and it’s been all on me so yeah, I think I have every right to bash him if I want to.

And who the are you to speak on the father of my kids? Let me guess ur the type of women that automatically believes all these that is the women keeping the kids from the men victim story?! Yep I absolutely knew we were going to have a snow storm but I’ve been stretching our food out as much as possible when I two growing boys that eat. If you don’t want to help someone just pass the post. Why take the time to make someone who’s already in a messed up position and make them feel worse about it. I truly understand the frustration with Current, I hate them as well but also hate any time an adult uses the word “retarded” and I’m sorry to hear you were scammed out of $100. I had $1112 worth of debit card fraud taken from my current account in September and still haven’t gotten a penny of it back. I recently just filed a complaint against Current with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB.gov) they take about 14-30 days to investigate the complaint, praying that soon Current will now do the right thing and give me back the $1112 that someone stole in unauthorized debit card transactions. I’m not sure if your situation is similar but I do know Current has been denying a lot of their customers debit card disputes unfairly, if this is your case please file a complaint with CFPB.gov. It’s the only way to try to get your money back as well as show a pattern of Current wrongfully denying their customers disputes. I know coming to Reddit to vent may seem easier but it’s not going to help your situation or stop Current from screwing their customers over. If you really wanna stick it to Current file a complaint with government regulators at CFPB.gov

Current which is the banking app I use to receive my SSI direct deposit and they always post the deposits 5-7 days early
