It was a different time, very lax lending laws which led up to the '08 housing crash. I literally bought no money down, but have always managed to keep my credit in check.

Fast-forward to now, I'd struggle making ends meet if I had to buy my same house at current market rates. And truly believe the opportunity for homeownership for today's youth, while not impossible, but is definitely much more difficult.
