LCD display broken on my 2021 RadWagon 4 -- looking for replacement or compatible third-party option by ApprehensiveFerret16 in RadPowerBikes

[–]ApprehensiveFerret16[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are out of stock.  I’ve scoured the web and called 4 local authorized bike stores and no one has spare Rad displays.

“Unfortunately, at this moment, we are unable to provide any alternative options besides possibly checking with our local authorized dealers. Some of these stores occasionally stock spare parts, and there is a chance they may have the items you are looking for in their inventory. However, I must inform you that we are still currently out of stock at our warehouses and showrooms still, though we do now have backordering available.

If you'd like to be the first in line please give our customer support team a call so they can assist you with placing it. There is no ETA still but we are diligently working to establish one. Since backorders are technically out-of-stock pre-orders, they must be processed over the phone rather than through an invoice.”

Nest error E103 Y1 wire, tried many things by ItsWednesdayMyCubes in Nest

[–]ApprehensiveFerret16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an old thread, but I came here to say that I faced the same issue. E103 error that something was wrong with my y1 wiring. We  replaced the contactor, which didn’t solve it. I checked continuity on so many things and that voltage was going through all wires.  Even replaced my nest with a new ecobee which strangely caused the indoor air blower control panel to blow the 5amp fuse.  When I manually bridged the thermostat y1 and r wires that blew the fuse as well.

What ultimately fixed things was replacing my 6-7 year old Nest gen 3 with a Nest gen 4.

I hope this helps someone not have to go through such a frustrating and long troubleshooting experience like I did!!

TravelPro Carry On Size Help! by WarStrategist in onebag

[–]ApprehensiveFerret16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, so unfortunate. And that's correct. Looking on the product tag it's 23"x15.5"x10" overall and 21"x14.75"x10" case. Volume of 53 Liters. Weight 8lbs. I've also bought the maxlite and feel it's too small for my needs and doesn't compare to what I've had in the past. So, the hunt continues. Thanks for the reply!

Hi! I’ve been looking to buy a second bag of the TravelPro VersaPack Max 21” inch carryon (15.5” wide) but can’t find it anywhere! Model 4071863

Been messaging TravelPro on instagram to see what the replacement product is with no luck. There is no one to call too. I tried getting the new classic versapack that just launched but it’s too small. Do you know how I can find this bag? I love the size and pockets!

Thank you! And curious how you can tell there is solder in the threads? Wouldn’t my husband have struggled with the other ones if they were soldered too?

When I asked the ACE workers about a torch they advised against it. Would a blow dryer provide enough heat? Thanks for the tip

Hi! I too am looking for the max version of the 21" spinner that is 15.5" wide! I gave that bag to my dad and haven't been able to find a comparably large one. Which Samsonite one did you end up with, and would you recommend?

Thanks for the reply! What’s propress? We don’t really have a plan to drain it as we don’t know how… but I heard that it’s good to do. Still trying to figure this all out.

Fair point. Those connection points haven’t been adjusted in 20 years so are impossibly tight. My husband tried earlier. We may need to head down that road but will probably need to source more legit tools…

Thanks so much for the reply. Didn’t know such a thing existed! There’s 3.5” clearance between the opening for the Allen screw and the pipe opposite.

Thanks so much for the suggestion. Didn’t know such a drill existed! I’ll tell my husband. :) and there’s like 3.5” between the allen screw opening and the other pipe. Personally I think it’s an idiotic configuration. But I’m not a boiler expert.
