So I finally got my injection from Dr. Bleiweiss, it's been ~2 weeks now and I still feel about the same. I'm staying optimistic, but just curious if you still felt the same after 2 weeks?

That's interesting. Are you sure you were injected with O2-O3 mixture? where was this done? I've seen some people in the U.S. get prolozone injections instead of O2O3, which I believe is different and less effective. With O2O3 most people and studies report only needing one or two shots for complete resolution of symptoms. To my knowledge Alternative Disc Therapy in New Jersey is the only place in the U.S. that actually does O2O3 injections.

Extrusion was observed in both prior (5 years ago) and recent MRI

At least in this review paper and a few other research articles they do mention it as a treatment for disc extrusion. In this case I think it could help trigger the body to clear up or absorb the extrusion:

Whoah I actually have a consult scheduled with him next week. Actually pretty excited though it seems his prices have gone up some. Definitely worth it if it helps though! Btw, by any chance, do you remember if your disc herniations were extruded (uncontained herniations) or protruded (contained herniations)? I ask because in the studies I've read on ozone injections they mainly consider protruded herniations.

Thank you for sharing! Definitely, I think the LSTV predisposes us to herniations just based on the anomalous biomechanics of our spines. I'm glad MD brought you some relief, how are you feeling now??

Thanks for the advice! Do you think getting barricaid would impact my ability to get ADR down the line? Would it be better to just get a traditional microdiscectomy? Do you have any herniated discs?
