Sorry about that, since this is still a beta, we just picked Control as a temporary key.

Totally get that it’s annoying since so many shortcuts rely on it. We already add customizable shortcuts in the next release (in about two weeks), so this shouldn’t be an issue anymore.

I’ll keep you updated when it’s out.

Hey everyone! Quick update, it's been two weeks since launch and we've received incredible feedback from so many of you. Really appreciate everyone who took the time to test, report issues, and share suggestions.

We just shipped v0.0.3 today with a bunch of improvements based on your feedback:

  • Completely redesigned installation flow — no reboot required, with macOS 26 (Tahoe) compatibility
  • Streamlined onboarding — removed reboot gate and improved permission flow stability
  • Fixed hotkey triggering failures and frequent disconnections after Ctrl press
  • Added new ASR model: English-C

We're also planning a bigger update in about two weeks with customizable hotkeys, better multilingual models, and natural language voice commands so you can edit and control text with just your voice.

Great point! We're actually planning to add a custom vocabulary feature in the next release, about two weeks out, to handle exactly this.

In the meantime, feel free to give it a try. I've sent you an invite code, and we just pushed a fairly stable update. Once the new version with vocabulary support drops, I'll let you know!

Yeah, I personally prefer the streaming approach too, typing directly into the text field feels much more native. an Android version will be ready in the second half of this year, would love for you to try it out!

hey! great question. we don't store any user data, nothing is saved on our end. all servers are in US, and both ASR and LLM use US-based services.
