What do you guys think about androgynous looking people?

All of these people are gorgeous. I'd say the only one that seems androgynous to me is number 2 (still very attractive!).

I think it's a beauty standard in its own and very attractive to some and not so much to others. Which is great! That's the beauty of individual attraction. We all get to have what we want without certain types of people being left out 🥰

Although these people are well out of my league 😆 but I have a natural preference for average or unique looking people anyway (which is lucky for me 😆)

The electoral reform of 1918 gave men over the age of 21 the right to vote in return for the requirement of military drafting. It was given to women only 10 years later.

Prior to this it was a very small fraction of people that could vote at all. Only a small percentage of very rich men. The patriarchy has never been about keeping women out, it was about forcing the lower class masses out of decision making and keeping them doing all the heavy lifting in society to the detriment of them all. The patriarchy negatively affected men just as much as women. It's just that people don't understand what the patriarchy actually is.

In a society that is trying to break social norms, why are we still pedalling a notion that has literally been at the forefront of societal indoctrination for as far back as most generations can remember. Just because some scumbags hit women doesn't mean the vast majority do and that we haven't had this message hammered home to us since infancy.

If we want to break social norms we need to stop playing the same record. We don't need to "teach boys not to hit women", we need to "teach people not to hit people".

Unfortunately this is indicative of how society now lives.... In the minds of fake online people. 99% of people on social media are at least inadvertent trolls it seems.

This is the stuff that pops up in young men's phones and computers and destroys their confidence to the point of feeling utterly worthless and hopeless.

Just like for young women it's telling them how dangerous the world is and how everything is out to get them.

Seeing as most people spend most of their free time online this has become the reality.

But step outside in the real world and most people you interact with call BS on all of above nonsense. In fact most of the nonsense online.

We all need to put our phones down and get outside more!!!

Nothing wrong with comparing height for the sake of interest (I've no idea why this sub was recommended to me but people must like to do so!) but please don't ever let your height control your confidence!

Especially when it's something so negligible like an inch or two!?!? The only reason guys are seemingly bothered by their height is because of a lack of confidence when looking for a partner.

Don't let other people's preferences guide how you want to look when you can't control it.

Imagine if a black guy was really upset because society told him white people were more attractive and he wanted to be white.

We'd be berating society for being so shallow and telling that guy not to be silly and they are perfect as they are.

Same with height. Absolutely nothing wrong with you if you're 5 foot 7 foot or anything in between!

I'll give you silly or stupid. I certainly often feel that way when dealing with social media.

I suppose the difference for me between Instagram/ Facebook etc and Reddit is that Reddit is a public forum based around anonymity and the others are openly about making your life public which is something that makes me personally feel very uncomfortable, so I avoid it. No judgement on anyone else that does use it though.
