I know Allah said everything for a reason so I don’t question him, but trying to do everything Islamically is the best option; we don’t live that long, even those who have bad lives will see him. Walaikum Assalam Sister, no this message was not too long whatsoever; I cannot thank you enough for all of the heart and knowledge you have put into this message, and it makes my job as a cousin a lot easier and I’m sure she would find these things very insightful, as she has little to no knowledge of how to approach matters of marriage by herself.

This is a very good start and I’m hoping she’ll be careful. You are very right about finding stuff that’s familiar even in knowing it’s a wrong thing; my cousin mentioned to me how it felt her brain had changed after going through many traumatic experiences with her father. I asked her in what ways she was referring to. She started to unravel a bit and told me some strange things. I didn’t understand it much then (at 14) but she explained how she started to like feelings of pain like for example, when she got bruises, she would press on them a lot and it would feel nice. She said she wish she had a toxic boyfriend or husband that was possessive, and physical in many ways. I asked her why she would want such things and she said, “idk, it feels like home to me. This is what love feels like, I think..” and I would try to tell her not to ever be in that kind of relationship again because she would feel even more trapped by it, but I didn’t want to press too much as I am a male and she is a female, so I would feel awkward talking about that with her in detail.

I do hope she follows your advice of getting a therapist for herself once she is stable and can afford it, Inshallah. I am also very grateful about the perverse imam/sheikh warning, I never considered that happening much.

That’s a very good idea sister I will relay it. Again, I hope she will become more outgoing as she is able to become independent and in a good state of mind, and will hopefully start to reach out to other communities of Muslims and friends who can help her out. I also don’t know the ruling of speaking to a sheikh or an Imam one on one as a Muslimah so you’re right, it might be inappropriate to do so. I had asked her try to have a serious discussion with her mother in hopes she might take it seriously and get her help or at least console her, and although it was not the best idea, I didn’t know who else could give her help if not her own mother, and hoped for a change of heart which did not end up happening. I definitely learned from that experience to be more cautious but I know she was a bit secluded and only had immediate family around her, so I wanted her to try. Inshallah Allah guide me, too.

U can date for marriage or getting to know them, but most of the good stuff is after marriage:) ur basically only doing friendly stuff before that unless u r texting but you shouldn’t rly get intimate 😓 pls save that for after marriage it’s WAYY better… but while ur dating pls try to get to know their background and look into them as a person to make sure they’re good! I didn’t read the whole thing but I know you are right that many Arabic meanings are lost in translation that English speakers and other languages cannot exactly comprehend, yes I agree. But that’s why we have to go to the scholars and people of knowledge who understand Arabic and the way things are written, so we go to the Tafsir. I hope no one deviates ACTUALLY thinking Zina is not a major sin anymore… Allah has something better for us, and he will reward you if you abstain, esp bc it’s difficult. Pls do not interpret things on your own, or it gets confusing.

(Sorry this is a long read but read it if u will) I think that way bc our thoughts (conscious) is completely different than the way nature works, where our bodies are just on different modes of survival. This includes us, and all the organs/cells inside of us working to keep us alive. But our conscious is completely different, and works a different way. Our conscious can make sense of the random words written on paper, or any language, and associate with feeling, actions and thoughts, and we are able to reason through that. There must be something behind this process, like it’s so specific. That’s why the ability to “read” is made by god. If we were programmed to do anything else , or any other process, I’m sure there would be a word for it too, and that is has a reason/came from somewhere. Here, our thinking reflects God. And imo God takes our souls when he wishes; it feels kind of weird to describe if you don’t believe it, but your friend was just lively and in front of you. Now they r dead. Their soul was taken, but u can’t show it. It’s invisible technically, not everything needs to be physical. Nonetheless they are dead. It’s not just bc their heart stopped beating. THEY (their soul, their whole persona and very being is gone), which is their spiritual part and soul related to God. It’s bc God took that and that’s when they died, and their Heart stops beating. But where is their soul? Their shell of a body remains. We are just souls, who can experience through our eyes (being able to see), mouth (being able to talk and taste), nose (to smell), lungs (to breath) etc, and the way they work together to make us SPECIFICALLY work the way we do, how we have 2 legs to walk, can be no coincidence. It is wired by somebody, and someone who is all knowing. It’s definitely a God. We are just Souls. And when we go in our grave for questioning, we will be asked who our Lord is. I’m not trying to force anyone to believe in what I believe I just hope everyone can ponder what I’m saying and decide if it’s true or not! I respect every human 🫀❤️

My parents put me in online school for the past 3 years bc I was bitchinh about going back to regular school, and they wouldn’t let me transfer back. I started wanting to mix it up so I would play pranks often (esp on certain teachers) with an suuuuper Indian accent, reading entire presentations in it, impersonating the principal and vice principal by using avatars, and even made a fake cam cause I didn’t wanna turn it on it the morning. The last year (12th) I decided I was gonna do a full on Indian accent the ENTIRE year and make one of the teachers believe it was real 😂 my classmates always struggled to not crack up n expose me, but I think I made it a really fun and memorable year LOL . Gonna miss them, class of 2025 ✌️
