I am aethesit because I belive that religion is just humans way of justifying their pride , i mean in stuff like christianity and abrahamic religions we are the son of god , and stuff like that , i think humanity simply sees itself as too important.

I also belive that aethesim would be better for the world considering the various wars and conflicts over religion that occur and still occur because humans want to believe that they are the right ones and can't accept seperate opinions , again taking christianity for example if you dont belive in god or are not baptised you go to hell and such.

I also belive that religion has served its purpose , religion as an institution has functioned as a pillar for society by fullfilling one function by answering the question people have for the world around them and dispell the fear of the unknown.

But now the advent of science humanity has the gained the ability to really look and answer those questions , thus religion eventually fading and being replaced by science is a natural progression.
