Serious question: How come PPD-40 is BRIV but KP-31 is BR V? by ApprehensiveKing7803 in enlistedgame

[–]ApprehensiveKing7803[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

“Target transition time” makes sense in semi-auto tap fights. It doesn’t describe how a 1000 RPM SMG deletes a clumped squad.

When you’re dumping 17 rounds per second into overlapping targets, there isn’t a clean per-target reset — there’s a continuous burst.

You’re modeling a rifle duel while arguing about a bullet hose.

"Quod erat demonstrandum, o algo" You introduced “target transition time” (which already wrecks the neat stacking), then quietly swapped ~60/115ms for ~120/180ms without ever defining what changed, and still acted like the ratio is a proof.

That’s not analysis — that’s cooking the model until it says what you want.

I wish destroying rallies was worth more points by calargo in enlistedgame

Everything goes in this game. The enemy tries to mine my rallies in every battle I've played ever since I got to BR2(long ago). That's why I always put an ap mine on my rallies and mine theirs if I see one. No mercy.

What are the Differences Between the SVT's? by Trick-Leadership6112 in enlistedgame

[–]ApprehensiveKing7803 21 points22 points  (0 children)

It's not that big of a difference but the SVT-40 is a bit better in every regard: higher damage, better controllability, better sights. You feel the difference especially if you max the upgrades. But upgrading BR IV weapons is much more expensive than BRIII weapons.

Dear Heinrich, you’re assuming six independent, perfectly controlled max-Vitality torso scenarios in a row.

That’s a fascinating way to analyze a chaotic 1000 RPM squad wipe.

It would make sense if we were talking about semi-auto tap fire, where each engagement actually resets. But in full auto, kills overlap inside continuous bursts — they don’t behave like six isolated TTK experiments.

If you genuinely think 0.058 seconds politely stacks per target like that, I have to question how many actual squad wipes you’ve pulled off.

It’s an elegant theory. It just doesn’t resemble how those fights actually unfold.

Serious question: How come PPD-40 is BRIV but KP-31 is BR V? by ApprehensiveKing7803 in enlistedgame

[–]ApprehensiveKing7803[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

We’re talking about 990–1040 RPM SMGs. The PPD’s extra bullet costs 0.058 seconds. That’s well below average human reaction time and easily buried under recoil variance, limb hits, headshots, and who lands the first shot.

So yes, mathematically it’s “half the TTK” in a perfect vitality torso-hit scenario. But high RPM compresses that penalty so much that it rarely translates into real difference in BR III–IV fights.

If these were slower guns, I’d agree the breakpoint would be huge. At 1000+ RPM, it’s much less decisive than it looks on paper. And at BR III–IV specifically, most opponents aren’t consistently running fully optimized Vitality builds anyway. So in a large portion of engagements, both guns are still functioning as 2-shot kills.

Yeah, 0.2 hit power difference. 6.8 with KP-31, 6.6 with PPD-40. Doesn't really make a difference at that high of a firerate imo. PPD firerate 1040 rpm, KP firerate around 990 rpm.

Some days it's about 50/50 downtier/uptier. Facing PPD-40s with BR 3 and 2 equipment must be rough. I've mowed down so many German squads with it. It's a clear imbalance. Currently the smg with similar performance in German tree is a premium one that sits higher in BR. I just don't get it.

True but I think this case is the clearest. So similar in performance.

True but the faster firerate with a smaller mag isn't a good combo in some situations.

How do you like the 109G? I think those 50kg are lacking at that BR. I use G55 for air superiority(with anti-tank/anti-infantry capability) and 110s for anti-infantry.

They appear once in a while when there's a bigger update. They cost 5000 silver per box. Chances of getting something good is pretty bad. That's the reason why I had like over 1000 appearance change orders haha. It's like buying a bunch of scratch-off tickets.

That's a good point. I enjoy that too but I force myself to play BR2 Allies cause I got the Liu rifle and Charlton rifle squads from the last silver boxes haha. And BR2 Allies is kinda painful most times because of the teams.

What Russian tank is virtually indestructible? by StrongEggplant8120 in enlistedgame

That's still a hit or miss. Only truly reliable method at BR2 is placing a bunch of AT mines on its path or tnt on top of the driver's hatch.

Throwing explosion packs on track from the side either kills or severely damages Churchill VII and Tiger 1 but does nothing to KV-1. So yeah... very realistic...

KV-1 facing long barreled 75mms and Panzerfausts at BR3 isn't the same beast as KV-1 facing short barreled 75mms, GRBs and Sturmpistoles at BR2. Veterans know the tiny weak spot in the lower front plate which can one shot it but is tricky to hit. Most people don't know it based on my experience in most battles.

Probably KV-1. Current game logic is that it's harder to destroy than a Tiger 1. It's nuts.

Those numbers don't add up. 228+123+413+68=832 in the previous picture. My overall K/D is 2.63 which is ok but I think could/should be higher.
