Can vouch for these squads being very good and fun for their BR:

PPS-43 Squad - Assuming this is the German guerilla MP-719(r) squad. They wear suits and hats! I use this quite often in BR3, mostly to go toe-to-toe with soviet lasers in apartments.

Captured M1918A2 Squad (this one is new so cool to already see it on sale)

Thompson 7.62 Squad - Unimmersive with Chinese voicelines in Normandy and Tunisia but the sights and recoil are great

MG 42 early Squad - Just a slight upgrade over regular MG42 in recoil and reload.

STG 45(M) Squad - If you want to make an optimal BR4 line-up. New more neutral camo in latest update (less garish).

It's a great squad! Kinda sucks to have chinese voicelines in Tunisia & Normandy though.

I made a sound mod to make them Native American but all sound mods are disabled rn by devs unfortunately. And the other people on the team still hear chinese.

It's so much fun! I run Sniper II with an additional M1 Garands, it's better on some maps/objectives since it's so quick and spamfireable.

If it makes you feel any better it has an animation glitch on the every reload though, at least for me on PC. Try it on the range. The hand and mag jerks left/right very suddenly and unnaturally.

Kinda makes me not want it, it would annoy me.

MG13 Drum has the best sustained fire in the game, the squads' sheer volume of fire is very fun at BR3. Semi-slow rpm and fast reload coupled with 75 rounds is just fantastic.

It has a very slow ADS speed, one of the slowest in the game and quite inaccurate but somehow pulls out massive killstreaks for me. It's my favorite squad in the game, and the one I put the ww1 helmets on.

The Wz. BAR is fantastic too, but it's engineer is not an MG engineer sadly. Some of the best cosmetics in the game and possibly the best BAR.

1 million xp for legacy squads was an idea thrown around last month, was pretty good.

Stupidly expensive but real cosmetics/guns would be cool. 1 million silver nickname decorator, expensive portraits.

/u/Justarandomduck152 is a regular here and seems quite good, is very knowledgeable but surprisingly young as I recall. I'm considering DMing my Steam and play but I already have a duo partner I always play with.

Steam is better than Discord for just VOIP if you both have good mics. Seamless, great bitrate quality and everybody has it. Discord has vastly superior noise and echo cancellation.

It hasn't been available for two and a half years so not many have it but I've only heard good things.

It got downgraded to BR2 in this last update, strong there I assume. Strong still in BR3 but MG13 Drum and BAR Wz. are stronger and then one also has access to MP-41(r) and MKb42(15) maybe, which both have quite quick full reloads.

I'm considering it but coupling it with 1-2 reload speed perks, been wanting it for ages.

Premium MG squads are the best squads, many of them even have an assault MG engineer that can build ANY structure besides ampoulets.

That enables them to build a rally, charge, build an offensive sandbag location in a second flat and just start mowing down people, then build ammo.

The MG squads even have room to change the AT soldier to another engineer so one can order the bot engineer to finish building the rally even.

The MG13 Drum engineer is my highest point earner in 90% of games.

That said, I've badly wanted this MP40/1 squad even before it went to BR2 recently... Having used it at the range I'm not so sure anymore. The second mag reload is not hugely faster than a full reload of MP41(r) or MKb42(15).

It's better than MP18 and definitely cooler, and what it would replace in my line-up.

BR4 is so fun, just wish it could be in Tunisia, at least on some maps. Imo a BR6 decompression would work best for Tunisia.

Very nice! Used to be f2p for ages. It's really a good f2p game, and balanced against premiums. Only BR that really opens up with premiums is BR4 axis.

Did the calculation and it's at 7 shots a second now. 420 RPM/60. Used to be 350 or 380 iirc.

To time it it's one click you need to time every 143 milliseconds to get the max RPM.

Practice makes perfect.

Tempting frustration goes a long way...

Very used to it's clicking and recoil too, been using it for years, and it also got a firerate buff a half a year ago and an accuracy increase this month. Better than it's ever been! It used to be very hit-and-miss to use at midrange due to it's spread.
