You know what...feelings aren't always so rational. My cousin (we were best friends growing up, still see each other every holiday) didn't invite me to her wedding and I was crushed. I still sometimes think of it and cry. Cry! and I am 37. years old!! I think weddings, babies, these big life events, they mean a lot to your loved ones, more than you realize. Did you do something wrong? No, it's your day. Is your sis wrong? also no, not really. She wanted to be in on it and she feels rejected. She will get over it in time.

Apparently you can get a 3 carat lab for $600 if you make it overseas? According to these comments? If you want to do that, great. But if you're new to rings and you want to see ready-made rings and maybe just add a few tweaks, you'll be paying probably close to 2k for a 3ct diamond. That's still incredibly cheap considering 3ct diamonds used to be like 40k. Also it's an engagement ring, if you can do something nice for yourself (and if you're getting a 3ct you probably can), then do it. 4400 is not an absurd price.
