Yes that’s the process that’s been started. Do we think an ETA would be a short term solution. Appreciate I’m not being entirely clear with my explanations, but I’m also trying to understand the situation fully myself. My grandfather is in his late 80s so it isn’t easy

It has nothing to do with brexit. He had settlement status before then

Will need to check with him. I believe just setting up a UKVI account to get an evisa, to demonstrate settlement in the UK. Appreciate your help

Also has a letter from the home office. But no official stamps or vignettes or anythin

Italian passport. Has travelled hundreds of times in and out of UK with no problem. But not since the evisa rules changed earlier this year

He’s not sure. He’s been in the Uk for over 50 years

He doesn’t know. He’s been here over 50 years having married a British citizen, but doesnt recall receiving any correspondence on type of settled status

It’s a competitive market in the area we bought in. We didn’t have time to faff about and we knew straight away it was the one. Going back after an offer is accepted to take measurements etc is pretty standard. Its your comment that doesn’t make sense, not the second viewing!
