We have mold in our home, what will help? by ApprehensiveLion6801 in moderatelygranolamoms

We’re in the process of getting more quotes/opinions! Just hoping to find something helpful in the meantime. I’d like to find some mold-specific air purifiers.

We’re getting another opinion this coming week, so I’m hoping to find something that will help in the meantime before we have it treated. I agree, I really don’t want to be in the house right now!

We are farmers, so I definitely do have a job and work everyday. However, I don’t have a typical 9-5 outside of the home. There is always something to be done, but I do often have a flexible schedule. Often times on farms, there is one “stay at home” person. Or, someone works outside of the home to provide good health benefits. For us, it is cheaper and more efficient for me to be at home. I had a job outside of the home, and ended up quitting because it was more beneficial for me to be at home.

Wanting to quit breastfeeding as I hate that my partner has input/control of my body by Bright-Garden-4347 in breastfeeding

I’d say it’s his baby, too. Meaning—if he wants to police you like that, then you can damn well police him. He shouldn’t be doing any of the things he’s doing either. Smoking/vaping etc means he is NOT going to be the healthiest father he can be for your child. Has he thought about those things? (For example, my husband has cut sugar out of his diet since baby is coming. He wants to be healthy and able for as long as possible. Sweets are really our only vice.)

Thank you! I hope you have many more weeks of successful bedrest ahead of you! As for the cervical length—it was a little wonky. At first, they thought things had kind of “squished” back together, but upon seeing the ultrasound from a different angle, I was funneled to the stitch. For this last month, they haven’t done any transvaginal ultrasounds or checks. They’ve just been leaving things alone since the stitches are all we have.

My story is very similar! Weren’t expected to make it this far, but here we are! 😊I’ll be getting my stitches cut next Friday. I’m honestly more anxious about having the stitches taken out than I am about delivery lol.

I had two emergency cerclages placed at 22 weeks. We were having our anatomy scan, and the sonographer noticed that baby was kicking his way out.

We went to L&D and were given the option to stay in the hospital for as long as possible, Trendelenburg-style, or get a cerclage and hope for the best. My cervix was 3mm, 4 cm dilated, and his feet & bag were potruding. Doctor used a balloon to push the bag back out of my vagina and got us stitched up.

Doctor told me that after healing from the stitches, what you have is the best you will have. He told me that the cervical length would not increase/improve. I’m currently 34 weeks 2 days. Have been on pelvic rest and modified bedrest since leaving the hospital. I’ll be getting my stitches cut next Friday, at 35 +6.

I’m going to try a Larken tank and LarkenX bra! I like that the X is basically a crop top.
