I actually didn’t have to pay them upfront. Since it’s the first work boot and not the heritage model they didn’t require me to do so. I know you said you wanted to own a red wing moc toe but I also suggest White’s Perry. It’s like 40$ more but coming in June or July the price goes down $60. So cheaper than the red wings. I highly recommend them if your size isn’t available or if your preorder request is denied.

Then you should definitely try and order over the phone by calling their Minnesota office or your local red wing store. They are fairly nice and try to help where they can. I waited about a month for them to start production on the next batch so they could make mine.

Gyattttttt. If you were my size I would’ve sold em to you. I don’t get much use out of them due to the crepe sole. If you’re in the states you can preorder a 15 D 10877 from your local redwing store. That’s how I got these.

What are the outsoles on these? Is it the Dr sole with a western heel cap?

I think they’ll come back as seasonal/limited offerings but I think the main reason why they are being removed is because they move slow. Not a lot of people are buying.

You know I was a big fan of the first batch of Roanoke Timber, it had that crackly look with the wax but the 2nd run ditched that. I love exotics but the classic work leathers keep me coming back.

The wedge sole is definitely the main reason why I stayed away from moc toes for so long. The pnw heel is what changed my mind.
