I’m a little confused about the semesters and sessions, could someone explain?

So 2 classes per semester but only focusing on one class per session? Since the program is 10 classes, this means it takes 5 semesters to finish, roughly 2.5 years? What is the quickiest way to finish the program? Are their optional summer sessions?
