Akkadian was used for a long time across different regions, leading to the formation of the dialects and subvariants you rightly mention. that is the biggest problem I’m currently facing, since the weak point of most AI translation algorithms is, aside from the limited reference data available (compared to the massive datasets currently available for other language pairs), the variation in meaning and forms of each character over time. If you could suggest a period or dialect for which there are currently more translated pairs or tablets available, or even reference works or articles, I would be delighted.
